Below are the most often asked questions which mainly cover our MiniRoos and Junior Age Groups which range from Under 7s to Under 18s.

  • What age can my child play from?

Boys and Girls can start from 5 years of age up and from 6/7 years they can play in a team each week if they wish

  • How does my child join a team?

 The teams are based on the Year of Birth ie. if your child is turning 7 in the 2024 school year they will play in Under 7s that season that allows them to play with their school friends as is often the case

  • What if it is their first time playing the game

We suggest if they are 7 and under to try the Beginnners programs that we run during term time to see if they enjoy the sport

  • When is training held?

Teams train one weekday night but this is determined by the Team Coach and at a time that suits most of the parents of that team

  • When are games played?

Games are played on either a Saturday or a Sunday but will be on the same day of the weekend for the season and we generally have the option to play Saturday or Sunday mornings at the Mini Roos age group which is Under 7 - Under 11

  • What happens if it rains?

Soccer is all weather for both training and games unless the pitches are likely to be damaged due to heavy rainfall. Safety is paramount so we do not play or train in extreme heat or storms. The club will advise Coaches on our approach to these situations
